Welcoming guests since the 1930�s, Highlands �came out� as a gay
resort in 1980. Individual cabins retain a vintage look with
chrome and formica tables, inlayed linoleum floors and charming
gas fireplaces. Porches are for dreaming.
A short
walk from town, the resort is located on 3 acres of redwood
groves and gardens. Our clothing optional pool is the largest in
the area and is surrounded by lawns and bright flower borders.

Modern
amenities, while available, do not intrude. Our concierge will
assist with everything from restaurants to wine tasting
